What is the EZ8 Women's Running Camp?
This is a fun eight-week running program geared towards
women of all ages and fitness abilities. The ultimate
goal is to be able to run an 8-minute mile with EASE,
thus the name...Easy Eight (EZ8). You learn how to run
better and more efficiently. It's always different and
a lot of fun. You don't have to be a great runner to
begin. The group's average age is early thirties to
fifties.
As an EZ8 runner you will gain confidence, endurance,
speed, and find your legs leaner and stronger. Camp
will focus on stretching / injury prevention, rhythm
intervals / drills, increasing your speed to an 8-minute
mile, and of course, FUN ! ! !

Stephanie McDonald, in association with Austin Adventure
Boot Camp, coaches this 8-week women's running camp. You will
feel rewarded by running a 5K at your FASTEST speed with the
group at the end of the camp. You'll also receive a great
EZ8 T-shirt on graduation day!
You must only be able to run one mile without having to stop
to walk... even if your one mile is extremely slow.
Running is among the best aerobic exercises for physical
conditioning of your heart and lungs. Studies have shown the
health benefits to be enormous, reducing the likelihood of
everything from the common cold to cancer. Your stamina will
increase. You'll lose weight -- most beginners often lose
nearly a pound a week.
